Martin KaspersMartin Kaspers immigrated to Canada from Holland as a child in 1957. He graduated with an honors diploma in Industrial Engineering Technology from the Southern Alberta Institute of Art and Technology in 1973. In 1992 Kaspers became a member of the Calgary Photographic Society. In 1995 Kaspers had his first showing in the Art is Vital Gallery. Since then he has won numerous awards in photography including the Kodak Canada Award in 1995, for The Creation and Interpretation of Photographic Themes. Since Kaspers was a child he had a deep interest in photography eventually began experimenting not only with photography but also with photographic manipulation. Kaspers began experimenting in the dark room, using infrared film as well as manipulating both color and black and white prints. Kasper’s creativity with photography eventually led to image enhancement using computers. In 2000, Martin Kaspers began collaborating with Christopher Talbot the founder and president of Artevo Corporation who directed a body of work for reproduction as Giclée prints; together they have created an extensive collection of beautiful digital artworks covering everything from architecture to motor vehicles for exclusive sale and distribution by Artevo.
